RT @ryan: Tech “humor” FYI. iPad vs stone tablet jokes: not funny. iPhone as iPad nano jokes: not funny. iPad tampon jokes: still not funny.
If it takes 10 consecutive tweets to make your argument, post it on your blog and tweet a link.

Twitter pro tip: Twitter, like the rest of the Internet, does not understand nuance or subtlety.
10,000-follower rule fulfilled. There’s always (at least) one. Done for now, folks.
Music for a Saturday night at home: Try Whistling This, Neil Finn. Listened to that on the Tiburon ferry every day for a year. #fb
Some people really love to argue in 140-character bursts. I am not one of them.
The people who try to debate me about Flash are just proving what I’m saying. That there’s a debate. And three years ago there wasn’t one.
I’ve noticed the ad hominem attacks on “fanboys” are also way up this week. Calling names in lieu of actual argument. But it’s the Internet.
I don’t know why people send me examples of sites that use Flash. I am aware many sites use Flash. I said there was a _debate_ about Flash.
Lots of responses to my Flash tweet. I’m not saying Flash is relevant or irrelevant. I’m saying there is a debate. 3 yrs ago there was not.
When iPhone was announced, the big question was when or if it would support Flash. With the iPad the debate is if Flash is irrelevant.
Perceptive phrasing by @kcase: “iPad is the best computing device for most of the things people use computers for.” http://bit.ly/aXfTjB
What a fantastically spot-on piece by @fraserspeirs about why the iPad shakes up the entire world of computers and tech http://bit.ly/9WFlgN

About to go on Strategy Room with @ClaytonMorris - http://foxnews.com/strategyroom - to talk iPad
Very nice to be on with @ClaytonMorris and jet-setter @alexlindsay and others whose Twitter IDs I don’t know. Vidyo = much better than Skype
I’ll be on live with @ClaytonMorris in an hour at http://live.foxnews.com/strategy-room
My jokes may not be funny to you, but come on, they’re meant in fun. I wrote them on this notepad here. Crap.
Oh snap, someone reminded me about the CrunchPad. There is no way I can top that one for humor value. Good night everyone…
I find it annoying when someone who doesn’t have a sense of humor accuses me of not having a sense of humor because they didn’t get my joke.
Phonies are still mad about the name iPhone, by the way.
Did everybody make all these feminine hygiene jokes when IBM introduced the ThinkPad?
Little. Yellow. Different. Better.

Can’t wait to see iPad versions of Strategery and similar games. Big map board game style action? Could be really great.
Macworld-PC World company mixer today. My first time playing Rock Band, believe it or not.

How many “Lost” write-ups did I do in advance of the start of season 5? Target: 100. Final score: 3. Yes, I totally suck.
So, tonight, for our nation: Death in the family. Once again, the horror...

Classic complaint. “The pad in The Incredibles has face recognition; why doesn’t the iPad?” http://tinyurl.com/y9rx6e8
Hands on with the iPad! Here’s my take (with @jonseff and @dmoren) http://is.gd/7eQRv
J.D. Salinger died. Great writer. I wonder if he wrote anything later in life. And if we’ll see it, or if they’ll burn it.
RT @SFNick Great writers don’t die. They disappear for 45 years and then die.
Today’s media madness: Cameo on MacBreak, PC World video, IDG News video, BBC video, ZDF.de video, Macworld podcast, Deutsche Welle English.
Jason’s late-night comic-book iPad geekout. http://bit.ly/bBJLlC And with that, to bed. Good night all.
Okay, just wrote 2,500-word “hands on” piece. Will post tomorrow, after @dmoren and @jonseff weigh in with their hands-on perspectives.
Apple is doomed! “I think in general it was a hit,” said Enderle. http://bit.ly/c6gYA7 (via @aulia)
RT @aulia Holy… AFP quoted Enderle in a story about the iPad and he’s praising the thing! Now it’s gonna fail. *sigh*
Curious why some people hate the iPad? Read “The iPad is a Failure,” by @fiswebdesign - http://bit.ly/cXohbI
People ask about my “review” of the iPad. I won’t review it until it ships. You can’t review a preproduction model, esp. after 25 minutes.
Oh, @danmoren met @stephenfry today and bragged about being @themacalope’s editor. True.
Writing up my hands-on experience with the iPad.

By the way, @coveritlive totally died today.
I have German and British TV coming to interview me in my office. Who will arrive first?
